Condemning Monday’s abduction of 180 pupils of Bethel Baptist College, Kaduna, in a statement, CAN President, Rev. (Dr.) Samson Ayokunle regretted Buhari’s seeming inability to secure life and property nationwide. Noting that kidnapping and banditry have become a thriving business, he advised the President to urgently seek foreign help. Ayokunle lamented that Nigeria, a land once flowing with milk and honey, has become a “wasteland that is devouring its inhabitants in the hands of this present leadership,” requesting Buhari to summon the security chiefs for an explanation on the raging criminality in the country.
